Violence Against Men and Boys: Hate Crime

Men are twice as likely to be a victim of a hate crime.


According to the British Crime Survey, there is a difference between the
percentages of men and women who experience crime motivated by race and by age. 

This gender pattern is reflected in the crimes referred to the Crown Prosecution Service in 2008/09, which highlights that men are the victims in two-thirds of the hate crimes that are referred
